Zero Conditional Use: To express general truths or scientific facts. The structure is "If + present simple, present simple." Example Situation: - If you heat water to 100 degrees Celsius, it boils.   - This means that every time you heat water to that temperature, it will always boil. 2. First Conditional Use: To express a real possibility in the future. The structure is "If + present simple, will + base verb."
